There's clicks and follows and maybe even professional advancement into a think tank from posting this shit. There was an OSINT site called Oryx who claimed to do "visual verification" of Russian armor losses.
A few months ago the guy running it said he's given up on it. One of the reasons he cited was that he expected to get hired somewhere that pays a salary based on his work and that hasn't happened.
He probably didn't get hired because of his shitty methodology but his reason for quitting probably speaks to more of these pro-Ukraine grifters than would ever admit to it.
