Some I know went "tradcath" after years of Warhammer 40K bullshit and "ironically" spouting Imperium of Man fascist shit. It wasn't their only influence ( likely had more to do with it) but it contributed.
Not the only influence, but saying shit like "suffer not the (fascist targets here)" and calling "God Emperor" certainly suggested influence on their path to tradcath shit.

Basically just more of the schismatic hard-right-wing reactionary heresies that America nurtures like mushrooms in shit.
