We can assume how hexbear users feel about themselves. I’d be more interested in how local users feel.

    It's stereotypical but not racist by itself. Racism implies some sort of discrimination. It could be used in a racist way, but most of the times it isn't. I am not saying that stereotypes should be propagated, either. Stereotypes are problematic in their own way and can lead to racist actions. I understand the movement to remove words like this from popular vocabulary, but I just think that it's important to call things what they really are by definition.
