      A type of double-barrelled shotgun with one barrel on top of the other, rather than side by side. While the side by side "coach gun" style retains something of a rural poor/everyman association, over/under shotguns are much more popular with rich people because they're good for duck hunting. Anytime you see some spooky old money house with a gun over the mantle, it's probably one of those.
