Lemmygrad and ProleWiki are the only communities I've found where I feel safe to be myself and more importantly, safe to learn. I always ask questions and want to learn so much. When I am here, those questions are not found by others as annoying or bothersome or suspicious, but rather as genuine questions from someone trying to learn.

I feel like a bad comrade because I wasn't aware of /r/GenZedong or /r/cth when all the drama went down. I was still hanging out and arguing with contrarian chuds in /r/lsc and thinking that tankies were bad. The only reason I am remotely familiar with the history of GenZedong is because when I was looking for a Lemmy instance, I saw some people bitching that Lemmygrad was full of commies and I was like, yeah I gotta make an account. It was a good decision. Then all the libs were clutching their pearls when Hexbear federated and I was like, well gotta check them out lol. I sort of float between both accounts now, not sure if I wanna keep both or stick to on now that dot world has defedded with both so the few comms on there are on my "fake lib" account.
