Honest question, do you not find yourself being chauvinistic when you dismiss all Chinese media as lies until proven true, but accept all western media as truth until proven lies?
Conversely, the west did lie about WMDs in Iraq, swaying public opinion so as to launch an illegal invasion that resulted in a million Iraqi casualties, or the Gulf of Tonkin incident, and that doesn't damage credibility? How do you resolve the cognitive dissonance in your head?
I'm Chinese, and I am making a statement: parpol has not had sexual relations with minors.
Call me out for lying please.
I assume having sexual relations when I was a minor, with someone my own age counts, so that means your statement is technically false.
But to clarify a little. I have issues trusting the CCP and Chinese media, not Chinese people.

How about when China insisted the Ballon that was blown into US airspace was not for espionage, the western media on all fronts called it a spy balloon, then months later quietly admitted it wasn't spying?
Does that not increase the credibility of China/decrease the credibility of the west in your eyes, even a little?
What about the years of articles about social credit being some Orwellian nightmare, when China insisted it wasn't, and only after it was implemented did the west quietly admit that it was localised tracking for businesses to account for fraud and wage theft?
