Became endemic and the marketers moved onto another thing to implant in westoid consumer-consciousness.

I’d like to point out that I’ve seen the same commercial featuring bad luck Brian over a dozen times today at work. Marketing people are still stuck in the early 2010s

Marketing people in the early 2010s were still airing that one 90s Sears commercial about getting the AC fixed

If this is true, why am I not being bombarded by 10 guy memes when I'm subjected to advertising? smuglord

I just heard a Das Racist song in an Instacart ad. Earlier I caught a Brad Sucks song in a Lexus commercial.

Once you turn old enough your worst generational peers will weaponize your youth against you. Soon you zoomers will be hearing 100 gecs in an ad for a lawnmower.

Yeah, didn't the "le epic bacon" thing happen in response to a huge slump in bacon sales? I could have sworn reading somewhere that the whole thing was basically an astroturfed social media marketing campaign by the pork industry. Or maybe I'm just being conspiratorial.

        It was astroturfed. https://www.salon.com/2023/01/31/heres-how-we-fell-in-and-out-of-love-with-bacon/

The article shows the pork industry pushing restaurants to slap bacon on everything, not engaging in viral marketing. Le Epic Bacon being a organic consequence of the inorganic baconator.

IIRC colbert did a massive ad for baconnaise on his show (it was disguised as a funny segment). so there was all kinds of push for the bacon shit.
