I understand this isn't a solution, but if you're willing to pay a bit you could set up a Nextcloud server, capable of hosting some office suite online with Docs-like simultaneous editing (don't remember the name of the software). You can also host it on an extra computer if you have one lying around

It would be enormously inconvenient for me to switch from Word to LibreOffice x_x. I am disgustingly plugged in to their cloud ugh.
