This is the fair and balanced type of reporting Germans fawn over their totally independent state media for.
Racist overtones aside, conquering foreign markets with their cars is the only thing that's kept West Germany relevant since the annexation of the DDR, and that's coming to an end.
I remember being shouted down here for saying German state media is biased as fuck. So I guess this is unbiased reporting.

This doesn't apply to DW since it's directly funded by the government, but my favourite is when German libs insist that ARD and ZDF are completely one hundred percent independent because they get their money directly from German residents (as a compulsory fee) instead of the federal budget. As if that makes any difference to how well they lick the government's boot and run journalistic cover for the economic elites of Germany, the EU, and the US.
That was basically my argument and what was said to me, yea. Fucking brain worms man.
Of course ARD and ZDF are independent! Please ignore all the members of ruling parties in executive positions. Nothing to see here!
