These are dark times, Comrades! The Intellectual Dark Web has us on the ropes with these brazen bazoongas they're flooding the internet with. But worry not! For I have been hard at work, pounding away at my keyboard, fondling my mouse, fingering my todo list. lol, alright that's a bit much. Lotta shit done since the last post!

In the two weeks since I last posted I've added the following menu options:

  • Dominant's Avatar Configuration
  • Stroke range
  • Handedness / controller config

First up: Dominant's Avatar Configuration. If you watch the video, you'll see that this is basically meaningless as what the player chooses is basically just the gender of their overseer's avatar, that I've also added, watching from the room above. Eventually, they'll have more animations and be more than just a watcher; Especially as I add voice recordings to be played during the brainwashing experience.

Stroke Range. I've discussed this before but The Handy toy has a stroke range of 11 cm (4.3 inches). And since everybody's got different sized body parts and use different sleeves in their Handy the full range doesn't necessarily work for everybody. So I've added a menu where the player can set the upper and lower limits of the range which the app will confine any stroking to during the experience.

Handedness. Does what it says it says on the tin, I've added a graphic of some quest controllers and documented what buttons do what with an option to change from my primary configuration to a swapped config. I'm keeping the Question selection stick on the hand opposite from the Safe Word Switch and the Release trigger to avoid any accidents. My goal for the experience has always been to for the user to spend as little time as possible thinking about what their hands are doing or worrying about buttons. It's very simplified.

Bonus Non-milker lewd dev stuff: I have had a background in many things adult/internet over the years and late 2019 I wrote a unity app for a lady friend that would play an mp3 and sync the buzz of a vibrator to the bass frequency range. She liked it quite a bit, but I never did anything with it because I wanted to turn it into a mobile VR music visualization experience. But, that would require people loading up mp3s on their VR headset and it just didn't seem very practical. Every once in a while, I randomly google potential solutions and my latest idea has been to load mp3s via a DLNA server. Which sounds like a good idea until you find that DLNA support for Unity is freaking non-existent. Until a random google last weekend led me to this UPNP Library which through like a full day of trial and error and chatGPT finessing has resulted in a script for some very basic file browsing of DLNA Media Servers. So, once I release the alpha for the milker, a vibratory VR music visualization experience will probably be my next OohAah project. Fingers crossed. I think some of you will find it very interesting because I'll end up ranting a lot about synesthesia and other fascinating things the brain does.

TODO:

  • I'm considering adding a head nod/shake recognizer as an input mechanism for giving the dominant feedback
  • Expand the save script for all the new settings I've added in this latest update
  • Write a script and record/AI some audio for the Dominants in the different modes
  • Flesh out the calming mode

  • Turn the menu from a bunch of options into something that feels like a BDSM contract

I think that's about it for this update, comrades! I was shooting for an April Alpha release, but May is seeming more realistic. We'll see. I may be envisioning more for the Alpha release than I should be. I'm definitely making considerable progress that I'm happy with though.
