    China builds rail using skilled (obviously paid) workers operating heavy machinery. They make heavy use of standardized prefabricated segments and very neat bespoke machinery during assembly.

      I think these people would see pre-fabs and the word "bespoke" as communism.

      I honestly have no idea how some shitslum developer in the USA hasn't tried making their own developments like that. Would only cost a 1000 a month!!
