    they're just dunking on us, there's no great utility to arming ~2,000 max guys in a war this big, and they could've laundered it to them with minimal trouble unofficially. they're a criminal gang for fucks sake.

      It's meaningless in practice, Azov is for a long time part of regular army and US was arming those and thus also Azov (as "elite" brigade they even most likely got a priority for equipment). The only point of this announcement is doubling down on whitewashing nazis.
