The kind of person who uses "historical realism" to justify their why they play Skyrim with mods that make everyone white and let you marry children is the kind of person who can't imagine it being used as anything but a fig leaf over a fantasy. Like a con man listening to a revolutionary speak and trying to figure out what angle he's working: pathologically incapable of realizing that other people often actually mean what they say.
