The rtv server I'm in has a politics channel for some awful reason, that I should have muted ages ago because of course they're all libs. And people were talking about this obv. And someone said "vote, you gotta vote" or whatever of course and said voting wont help. Earlier a trans woman in the chat was being apoplectic that this would mean she gets killed and me and a few other people heart break reacted her post. The second biggest turbolib in the server said "You don't get to broken heart Delcatty's post then not vote lol. Thats so two faced." I absolutely lost it and went off, luckily with one exception the chat didnt dogpile and more did a "we should stop shit flinging" thing but god beign talked down to by a lib in that moment honestly made me lose it. I probably have more on the line then he does anyway as a disabled leftist with trans girlfriend's and lots of trans friends. And you know what? I can't correctly pretend that all those trans people in my life are anti-voting, said girlfriend is voting Dem in November. But I do know trans people who are anti-voting obv since I post on this forum lol. So trying to talk down to me in this moment just fucked me up.

Reminder that I live in MASSACHUSETS lmao. I couldnt "stop Trump with my vote" if I actually did vote.
