Liberals have no material analysis and they rarely have any skin in the game when it comes to politics. They're not going to starve, they're not getting killed, they are not getting tortured, they're going to be fine no matter whether the emperor wears a red or a blue tie. It's all like a team sport to them, you might get really excited about your team and use big words but you would want them to win within the accepted rules of the the game. You would think it would be beyond the pale if someone from you team brought a gun to the pitch and started shooting at the other guys.
