Hey all

I thought I would give this a try. I find it uncomfortable to ask for help, but here it goes: recently, I was outside with my cat and he was scared by a snake and freaked out and bit me. The finger got infected, and urgent care made me to to the ER. Long story short, I got hit with a $700 bill and lost some work over the injury. Most of my life has been spent just getting by financially, and any time something big like this comes up, it throws everything out of balance. I need to fix my muffler on my car, or risk getting pulled over again. I also need to renew my registration, all while trying to pay this medical debt before it goes to collections and they hound me worse.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, and I will be able to pay it forward here in a couple of months. That's assuming I dig myself out of this hole.
