Does the Montessori model provide a model for how everyone could be educated? Should a socialist project attempt the reconstitution of public education informed by the principles of Montessori education?

I have little experience with this, but I've heard what counts as "Montessori" is basically up in the air in the US. Its a mixed bag of results according to the wiki page, and probably has some merits but I don't think any alternative system that develops under capitalism will ever be a revolutionary replacement for existing bourgeois education.
