I been working on this website/app these last few years, basically trying to show that there are a lot of very hard working people trying to make the world a better place and the news you choose to focus on has a big impact on your mood/life so try to not get too absorbed into the negative sensationalized media. In that case I appreciate what you are going for, and a nice complimentary community can be found over at hexbear.net/c/bloomer though you might occasionally find posts celebrating for example a billionaire getting imploded in their vanity submarine.
I would definitely suggest crossposting stuff there because we could all use a bit more good news in our feed and it isn't the most active comm to be sure.
