Muwekma Ohlone Tribe were arrested on their second day of encampment outside capitol building, after their "trail of truth" journey from San Jose, California to DC. Group camped out on the lawn outside the capitol building to protest the governments refusal to recognize the Muwekma tribe federally.
The Muwekma Ohlone Tribe is an unrecognized organization for people who identify as descendants of the Ohlone, an historic Indigenous people of California.
