If we're talking fruit pies I'd probably be very generic and say a nice apple pie would be my favorite go-to.
Of course for regional pies, the most common pie I see around the state the most is a vegetable pie known as rhubarb. A nice rhubarb and wild berry pie can be enjoyably tart and sour with that delectable hint of sweetness that rounds out the sharpness of the ingredients.
Don't know if anything around here qualifies as pie. Is strudel pie?
Dunno. I'd say it's a pastry, but the main law of the land that is McDonald's calls their apple strudel a pie so I guess yes?
