While Steve Miller and Trump's "zero tolerance" terror was playing out with the crisis of family separations in 2018, Miller's uncle, David Glosser, expressed his "dismay and increasing horror" at his nephew's policies. A fun family to share a holiday meal with, right?

Glosser, who once volunteered as a neuropsychologist for the Philadelphia office of Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society (HIAS), explained that his and Miller's ancestors arrived in the U.S. in 1903, a few years before xenophobic immigration policies would have prevented their entrance. Unlike his nephew, Glosser connected the dots: the policies embraced by the Trump (and, now, Biden) administrations would have surely resulted in further persecution and suffering for his own relatives.

Thank you. Can we stop this lib shit or at least get to the right conclusion: They were immigrants that were allowed to assimilate into white supremacy. How the fuck can you do that as a brown or black immigrant?
