Have you seen the Sci fi channel dine minisereis from.the year 2000 and it's sequel.miniseries from 2003 that covers messiah and children of dune? If you haven't read children of dune yet just stop before part 2 of the 2003 series. I feelnthe need to advocate for it when dune is mentioned cause it has the time to tell the story better than Lynch of Villenieuve and despite the low budget I think absolutely nails.the aesthetic.
