Good news, I was impatient so I decided to screw my sleep schedule and do it now. And holy moly is this shit amazing. catgirl-heart

It’s a very tedious process and it also creates a huge mess, but it’s also very satisfying and the results are beyond what I had hoped for. It’s not perfect though because there were some things I had to figure out on the go.

So I went with a baroque-like pattern in black (because that’s the only stamp polish I have) and my nails are vampy as fuck now. The red got a bit darker, which I like and the details are pretty crisp except on my first 2 fingers.

So yeah, go give it a try! All you have to do is get all the utensils (I just got some pretty cheap ones) and watch this tutorial. She’s spot on with everything she says and as long as you follow her words the process will be suprisingly easy, although, as I said, a bit tedious.

ooooooh that sounds hella fine, i'd love to do black on red! i had a look for stamping pads on my normal nail polish site and there's one that i definitely want to grab so i'll make sure to get that and the other supplies when i order next

also thanks for the linky, i watched it and the whole thing sounds kinda doable!

Oh, it’s very doable. If someone as clumsy as me can do it, then you should be fine as well. But make sure you have all the supplies she recommends and be thorough with your cleaning after every use. Patience and preparation pays off a lot here.
