Yet racist Russophobia and anti LGBTQ material is totes cool and not rule breaking right? When I was modding the admins couldn't give two fucks about queer bashing or disingenous sea lioning and "just asking questions / politely hating" bullshit. But life is better outside of that place

Last time I was on reddit-logo,one could bash Muslims as much as they'd like.

Yeah that usually came out of the woodwork whenever there was a video of someone reacting to one of those (almost always 100% racist) dudes burning a Quran.

Now me I don't give a fuck about religion and any book should be burnable as artistic expression or political speech. But ideals don't exist in a vacuum and these guys were so obviously doing it to get a reaction from people, film it, and throw it online for their racist fans.

And lo and behold the big liberal brains on reddit just fell right into the trap. Lots of racism that passed itself off as secularism, "Islamophobia," you name it. The whole cornucopia of dogwhistle bullshit.

All the "heh heh reddit will ban me if I say the real issue" smuglord shitheads doing their song and dance. Bazillion upvotes.

        Every. Goddamn. Time.

The one guy in Sweden put bacon inside the burning Quran, I bet Reddit loved that.

Islamophobia isn't racist because Islam isn't a race, though

Still exactly the same. A guy who started an extremist Christian militia dedicated to civil war got killed not long ago.

The overwhelming response there was that "he must have been killed by innately violent Muslims for trolling them too hard!!!1!"

Years ago, I saw a comment on there saying Russia and China should be nuked that had tons of updoots, while a comment criticizing that one had a negative score. Just how reddit-logo works, I guess.

I once made an ironically china bad post on a sub and got more updates than posters on that niche sub. It is very much just bots controlling narratives
