2013: Bret Stephens, Wall Street Journal, "for his incisive columns on American foreign policy and domestic politics, often enlivened by a contrarian twist." :anglo-burn:

This is like Gandhi telling the Jews to kill themselves to own Hitler

Oh that was bad. There was some white boomer doctor taking pity on himself for fighting against the Orange Man for 5 years and whining how he needed a break. "My job is done" give me a break!

This is the type of person that the Democrats courted, all the while telling the left to go fuck themselves.

Will's interview with Thomas Frank, just last episode (511), actually discusses how Biden's capturing the PMC / petite bourgeoise latter-day liberal Republicans, while jettisoning all the working class white collar voters. It literally is the type of person Dems are courting, and a big reason why they've made inroads into states like Virginia, Colorado, and Arizona, while losing Ohio and Indiana and Wisconsin and Iowa.

Frank talks about how the wealthiest corners of Kansas have flipped to the Democrats for the first time in a century. These communities are coming around on social issues while doubling down on economic conservatism, and Biden's party is rapidly incorporating them into the new Democratic establishment.

"Coming around to social issues" = "It's okay to be gay as long as you're rich."

More broadly, the Church of The Ivy League is replacing our old social networks. Anything goes, if you're a Yale-y.
