Keep masks normalized even after covid one day comes to an end. Much safer to shoplift when your face isn't constantly showing up on security cameras.

Yes. Less dysphoria + less getting sick. No downsides, I never got why people complained.

Every since the pandemic started I've just noticed how gross most of my fellow Americans can be as a baseline. I may never take it off.

Buddy, I still wear a mask even when I'm NOT allowed too. :black-bloc: :cmnd-marcos-pog: :dril:

Fully vaxxed and plan to continue wearing a mask indoors forever. I may be more lax about it but we probably should have been doing it beforehand, I'm sure I'll catch less colds and stuff. Masks are pretty much mandatory indoors vaxxed or no here and you'll stand out like a sore thumb and look like a prick if you don't wear one.

No one but a small small margin of cranks are anti mask here regardless of politics. I'm also quite sure most cops here are not anti mask, it was just accepted as anything to do to not spread disease and people did it. I'm not American and my particular area handled Covid quite well all things considered.

Outside it's afaik unnecessary, but inside I do. It's a minimal effort thing, so why not?

Of fucking course I do, the disease is still around and new variants are popping up all the time.

No matter how much capitalists try to make you forget, the vax still doesn't kill covid, stop you from spreading it or stop new variants from emerging. Not wearing a mask and just relying on the vax just gives covid more opportunities to mutate into a new strain and then whoops back to piles of dead bodies.

you cant seriously claim 'the capitalists' are trying to make us forget. conservatives are off in their own make-belief world but liberals have no problem living in panic.

this whole thing cant be split into a right/wrong conflict. some more thought has to be put into it than that.

there are a lot of fissures forming amongst the rulers of our society.

even if you're not living in the shithole of america, I'd argue you should take american society as the canary in the coal mine.

I don't know, I was more talking about the vaccine being an excuse to ignore covid. Libs are just as eager to get back to normal as the GOP, I barely consider them a seperate party, they both work for capital and you bet they won't give a shit about masks the moment they consider enough people vaccinated.

In other words I was saying wear your mask regardless of what our corporate masters tell us. They have been overly optimistic about the vaccine so we should mask anyway. Capital just wants to get back to normal are ignoring important details about the vaccine.

They have made it clear that the plan is get enough people vaccinated that they can claim covid is over. They have said themselves "people will still die even after the vaccine, just less." in other words your life is a risk they're willing to take for line go up.

I got swept up in the "vaxxed people can go unmasked" craze for about 10 minutes, then woke the fuck up and put the damn mask back on. It's about 20/80-masked/unmasked where I live, quite bleak. I wouldn't be surprised if the more audacious chuds started shaming mask wearers before too long

I feel fine in a mask, and I do not trust people not to get me sick. Plus I have colorful ones that add some flair to my outfits.

tbh it depends on the place. if I'm only gonna be in for a minute, like going into a gas station to pay, I don't. If it's something like a store or doctor's office where I'll be inside for a while, I do.

I walked into a gas station / convenience store the other day and accidentally forgot my mask and regretted it immensely when I realized I was in there with like seven other people who weren't really distancing.
