Google will store Location History, Maps Timeline on your device for privacy

Google is making a big change to how it stores Location History and will be locally saving it to your device with encrypted cloud backups.

I've always had location history disabled. I plan to keep it disabled.

  What about "Location Accuracy"? Using WiFi and Bluetooth to higher accuracy on positioning?
