The audacity of these fuckers to pass that off as a barbershop full of authentic people.
Anything to sell you the democrats. Anything is up for grabs.
I like how the decorations are lazily scattered around, but not in a way any real barber shop would do it
I love how they forced all the black staffers into a room then filled that room with commodities that are marketed towards the black people.
Highly concentrated liberal racism.
Love to go to a barber shop where there's only one chair and it's in the middle of the room
I once worked with one of the people that got the hex code tattoo (after that whole incident).
They were one of the better humans at that company.
damn, that's cringy. i was involved in the 2020 primary but i either missed or forgot about that one.
warren stans really got tattooed both as holocaust prisoners and as nazis, damn. what does that phrase even have to do with her?
It comes from this HuffPo interview regarding some CFPB bill or whatever
I think it was supposed to be a callback to Warren's role in the CFPB so I guess the phrase symbolizes that Warren Gets Things Done™ unlike Do Nothing Bernie™ but even in the context of her playing hardball the quote is unfortunate and doesn't make a lot of sense. I don't even know what consumer agency means, sounds like a libertarian meme.
Edit: I updated my broken link with the interview lol
That's not even a color anyone uses.
They literally just had someone pick a random part of a color spectrum and said "good enough".
I'm from SC and am tempted to drive multiple hours to the town of Beaufort where this took place and spend like a week there trying to truly piece together this mystery, in hindsight, once and for all and write an article about it. Where was this location? Where are the other "real" shops they had actual proof for? Who are the two guys in this picture besides Fredrick Joseph? Was Joseph solely responsible for this, or did others help set up this train wreck?
There's so many unanswered questions. Even today, if you look up this incident online, all you get is shit like this explaining why everything was totally legit and nothing was faked or ridiculous. I want to know know what really happened! The truth is out there. If I were to set up like a online donation thing (kickstarter or like patreon or something) in hopes to get like <$500 just to fund travel expenses, do you think people would support it?
I can't remember the adress, but I did find the place on google street view. It was in a building with multiple small businesses next to eachother and seemingly did house at least one barbershop. Considering the ItWorks sign in the back of him (i doubt they would fake that), it might have legitmitately been some kind of existing business establishment.
holy fuck i never knew about this but it is so funny. yeah my barber always wears a dress shirt and tie to work hahahaha
That's a poster for Pan at the top right? I don't understand
the Warren campaign threw this together with some random stuff (probably from some staffer's basement) and tried to play it off as a real barber shop
It's mind boggling that this is something that was actually done.
And again a Pan poster? Is that a peter pan prequel? Who even happens to have that, and try to play it off as a at barbershop on top? A dvd themed barbershop?
I don't expect clarification on that because there can't be any and yet I'm seeing it, I'm actually losing my mind
