I played airsoft when I was younger and it was fun, if you're with casual players. The people most into imperialist LARP are usually the most toxic and the biggest chuds.
airsoft is like 50% nerdy asians and 50% white chuds with i guess an equal cross of asian chuds and nerdy whites, too. dressing as resistance/partisan/guerrilla forces during a game is like painting a giant fluorescent target on your back cuz all the army reserve-reserve boots want to bag you
Air soft is cool when you want to shoot and practice shooting and go through hundreds of rounds, but you don’t want to spend hundreds of dollars on ammunition to do so. Or when you’re day drinking with your friends and want to shoot but not be totally irresponsible.
Or when you wanna put some safety glasses on and plink away at each other with a 20 dollar mg
Not going to lie, if I had several hundred dollars to waste on pointless toys I'd probably get an airsoft AK replica and shoot cans with it or something
I also knew people who were into airsoft in high school and they were nerds who liked Counter Strike
Airguns > Airsoft for plinking 🥰
Good ones share the same exterior parts as real guns and often much cheaper than high-end airsoft because they're used in professional firearm training. Very dangerous, don't shoot anything alive with it.
It exists so you can post stl files for real guns on various popular 3D printing websites just by adding (airsoft) to the title.
Airsoft is boot shit. Guys pretending to be operators, imagining that Rodger from the fantasy football league is a Chinese Antifa Taliban commando when they shoot him in the ass.
I was into airsoft in college, but I was a lib and starting to get into chud shit around the same time. Everyone else that I played paintball with was a chud as well. No idea what the scene is like in Japan, I'd imagine probably military otakus with bad politics.
Yeah the chuds in Japan can't own high powered arms so airsoft is the next best thing lol
Holy shit. Fucking gun culture in the USA is so toxic and cursed.
I've never done it, bit I get the appeal. Take away any real chance of death or injury and war is fun as hell.
My very limited experience with it is that it's sort of a blend between paintball and laser tag. The place I went was very much sci-fi "Red vs Blue" themed, and exclusively did weird party game modes like one that was based on the cardboard box scenes in metal gear solid, but I can imagine people being weird.
It is pretty fun tho its like tag at a distance.
I llayed a game on Halloween once and everykne just wore milsurp stuff. I was sad. I wore a cheap hitman suit and people kept thinking I was staff
