two nights ago, I witnessed a horrible crash, resulting in 2 horrible deaths. my condolences to the family. An EV, specifically a Tesla model 3, hit a large bump, jumped, and hit a tree. This thread will contain video and photos from the event— Ian (@LinderSheldon) September 15, 2021

Two people killed in the accident. Seems to be that the battery actually malfunctions prior to the crash and then crashes into a tree. Car is completely engulfed in a battery fire within 3 minutes. Cells scattered around the scene.

This seems absolutely horrific.

    Pretty much lol. They run those big lithium ions batteries in a huge chain with a bunch of others ones, and stick them in a Tesla brand box.
