Chinese people were literally targeted on the basis that they were spreading communism, regardless of whether they were or not. Also ignores the long history of anti-chinese pogroms and discrimination, which were in large part due to the colonial divide and rule policies of the Dutch, later Japanese occupiers, and of course continued under the US backed suharto regime.
Exactly and they had the gaul to say it's not comparable to anti semitism. Hint one of them is white.
