Due to the subject matter I thought it was like one of those grim UK crime procedurals but it's so stupid and preposterously written it's like a saturday morning cartoon with r*pe and pedophiles
It has the exact same target IQ as CSI but with less goofy CGI and magical computers

Experienced cop: Arrests guy with gun and black duffle bag in the middle of huge bank lobby. Opens bag, bricks of white powder inside
Young cop: Reaches with a knife to cut it
Experienced cop: Wait. It's fentanyl. You do that and everyone in this building is dead.
I’ve literally smoked fentanyl powder and lived and these fuckers think it’s like sarin or something lol.
What I've heard is that the cops actually are just using the drugs themselves, and so they get caught high and are like "oh shit you can get high just from touching the stuff!!" And now that idea has actually spread beyond the people that were making an excuse.
Sorry but whoever told you that is dumb.
These cops are having panic attacks that they think are overdoses from touching fetty. They believe this shit is worse than anthrax and that they’re going to die unless they get hit with five Narcan in a row.
Couple other reasons why whoever told you that is dumb:
- Fetty is sedating as all fuck.
- Cops being fucking dumb aside, that stuff can kill you if you don’t have a tolerance. I’ve OD’d off of one hit, twice.
I mean SA is basically most of the shows plot points.
My brain gets jumbled and I think it's Ice T on SVU and not the car shield commercial when I change the channels fast.
The thing that makes me laugh about it is the idea that so many cops actually give a shit about those sorts of crimes. It's similar with medical dramas, they'll spend days trying to track down the solution or the victim, in reality after a little bit both doctors and cops will be like "are you sure you didn't make it up?"
In real life they will glare at you with contempt, accuse you of drug-seeking, mock you behind your back and kick you out after charging you $300 for the doctor telling you to fuck off

CSI: Cyber was hands down the best unintentionally hilarious crime drama ever. I don't care for these types of shows but I binged the fuck out of that show in like 3 sittings. I'm mad it got cancelled after only one season.
I didn't even know this existed
I just now realise there have been no CSI shows on air for years and the franchise is now a 2000s relic, RIP
That show has made me feel horrible for some of the stuff it made me laugh at. But goddamn it had me laughing, wowzers.
