Thread by @RiotLinguist: Found it! Was curious why they doggedly refuse to link the actual FOIA docs, so I tracked them down. This quote is taken from a memo *in reply* to the original proposal for...…
So what im getting from this is that someone attempted to use this as a sectarian attack to paint anarchism as uniquely "CIA fodder? "
This should be pinned if thats true.
Exactly and the guy the thread refers to almost exclusively posts shit about anarchists. Though the thread says that the original finding was by Ben Norton who cropped the part where the FBI supervisors or who say they won't go with Workshop.
I'm not trying to jumpscare you I was just searching "jonnysocialism" to see if people were really mad at them for being suspicious of chapo type people or something
If you can remember feel free to link to them calling anarchists feds bc you only linked to main page. Just curious. Twitter search is just getting worse and worse even on Nitter
Beware of anarchists using "leftist" rhetoric to justify allying with US imperialism
As sectarian disregards the fact everyone replying would agree with
Beware of "anarchists" using "leftist" rhetoric to justify allying with US imperialism
Kinda requires twisting the sentiment, which is "watch out for this tip-of-the-iceberg infiltration tactic", adding that police documents clarified the anarchist point of view was the easiest for them to see a way to twist into this sort of imperialist messaging.
I am familiar with the "storm of willing hands" FBI paper about antifa where they say it's challenging to infiltrate an organization that doesn't exist. This is talking about how they planned to shape pseudo anarchist groups.
I think the antiwork reddit moderator who went on Fox is probably a good suspect idk
There's Beau of the Fifth Column (who NYT and ADL mysteriously promoted) and Robert Evans types who wear it on their sleeve and receipts
I see where you come from and you are right that creating these groups can be a tactic to take the wind out of the sail of antiimperialist tactics, but it works on other ways as well, see the antiglobalist movement at the end of the 90's and early 00's, where anarchists took the lead but were held back by statist - mostly succdem - people.
Never watched Beau luckily but saw how he turned out to be an asshat, same with Robert Evans and the Bellingcat "anarchists".
Yeah now i get it lol, obviously what i was referring to was the situation when i made the thread, plus as i mention above, it was mainly Norton who did the shithousery here.

This is not true, look up what he's posted about patriotic socialists. Yes I am aware this was two years ago no search bar is safe from me
lmao i have no idea how his views on patsocs are related to his views on anarchists.

Fuuuck, have no time for that now and seems like the og link is dead now anyways, gotta archive more.
I mean they're saying it's a proposal right here
To be honest, I think taking the phrase

Never not thinking about protests 90s00s i will admit
he's just looking for things to satiate followers looking for more suspicions
