It's lib shit, but seeing libs argue for secession is pretty wild. I remember seeing a poll a few months ago that had something like 30-40% of self-identified liberals saying they supported breaking up the US. Not that the powers that be would ever actually support that, but it's oddly promising as a reflection of growing disillusionment with the US. A thoroughly warped and delusional kind, but still interesting.
This was me for quite some time. I remember seeing it discussed online here and there, and farther right liberals would jump in and point out that open borders and a united federal government basically are what allow the treats to flow, and how quality of life in any seceding region would decline rapidly of such an attempt were to be successful. They weren't wrong or anything, it's just funny how poor of an instinct educated-working-class left-liberals (including my former self) usually have for ecenomics.

it probably is the only chance for progress in any large region of america, but i would be concerned about some of the new countries and the people stuck in them Can you imagine all the conservative states in the middle Balkanizing and consolidating power entirely and forever? It'd just be a Christian oligarchy even more than america is now. or what if they get to create a new constitution today and all the batshit stuff they would put in it.
