as stated in other posts, im a little hesitant to cause total chaos, cause that would be a mod cleansing all over again, and its such a hassle. i also think its extremely funny that they constantly worry about "the tankie takeover" despite the sub being run by "tankies" for almost the entirety of its life lol. watching libs froth themselves up into a rage over literally nothing at all is pretty funny

If they are at the top of the modlist (sounds like they are close), they can't be kicked out

The account at the top is my old one, which got banned for being too cool.

The second one down is my roommate.

The next like 3 are people i know well lol

I'm very happy to hear that we still have members with such intense posting power :among-drip:

You could always have your friends announce a "coup", mod some fresh sockpuppets, and kick your original...ditching any heat you caught in the process. The libs would celebrate and forget immediately.

                  :sankara-salute:

I want to eventually make a post out of it, but I had an idea and wonder what you think about it.

It might be useful to control the narrative on :reddit-logo: a little better if we created: /r/LessTankieSubreddit & /r/MoreTankieSubreddit for a bunch of existing subs (not all at once, obviously), but control both and feed them both suitable content to steer people left. We could probably pipeline the /r/MoreTankie subs' users here.

We should also take tally of the subreddits with mods here. It could be useful to share resources or coordinate action

The problem is that if you want to direct people in a certain direction, you cannot have an obvious pipeline like that. it has to be incredibly subtle or you risk having the reactionaries flood in and freak out. for instance in GCJ, we got it to be like 80% lib and 20% leftist because we simply dont tell people that we ban them for being conservative. we just do it. any more obvious that that and people start to get a little weird, ESPECIALLY if its a large place. If you want to pipeline people like you suggest, you have to be fairly explicit in the content, and try and get people there through other methods so that they already are in some sort of agreement before they even arrive. You cant just change minds that easily without people getting upset, but you can curate people OUT of the group. Libs of course are just FAAAR harder to deal with.

I do think we should have a tally of mods though, just because i would like to know which subs are good to work with if necessary.

Outright posting a meme of that would be hilarious.
