They'll drag it out as long as they can to get closer to "cleansing" Gaza so they can colonize it. The only way Israel even comes to the table to discuss a ceasefire in good faith is if they are forced to do it from external pressure.
Their government wants to erase every trace of Palestine so they can wash their hands of the whole issue and say, "well, there's no one left to complain, so I guess you just have to forgive us."

A "fun" fact is that the Zionist colony keeps sending its terms, the Palestinian resistance says, what about our 4 main demands, then the Zionists just pretend like nothing happened.
