    unfortunately these devices are pretty niche so they're more expensive than a tablet with a normal LCD

      400 USD for a developer kit.

      Probably going to end up being more if they deem it consumer ready, but with 4gb of ram and 128gb emmc storage, that's not bad compared to a touchscreen Chromebook actually. Plus it comes with a touch pen.

    I need this. I have so god-damn many paper notebooks collecting dust, and I hate reading on my phone. Hope it's affordable.

    Is writing on e-ink a big deal? I never had a kindle and assumed they were vaguely on par with cell phones for stuff like that.
