They've been sold the ad fueled dream of moving swiftly, suavely and speedy through a beautiful country lane or a cool trendy city but noticeable, no matter where it's set, it's always devoid of other cars. Fuck me the more modern "we're saving the planet with this 2,5t BEV SUV" ads by car manufacturers include people on bikes and pedestrians but crucially, they do not include any other car, not even by the same brand or any of the sister brands since there's like 5 actual car manufacturers left at this point.
