One of the best parts of that interview was professor finkelstein starting the interview off by confirming Destiny's name with him, specifically so that he can proceed to never actually use it. Absolutely intentional.

The difference of respect afforded to a fellow academic that he [strongly] disagrees with and random politics streamer is pretty obvious.

Destiny got precisely the amount of respect he deserves in that debate. The sheer fucking arrogance of even showing up to that debate though, I love how the guy who was supposed to be in his corner just couldn't help laughing at him.

Being given a seat at that table was far more respect than he deserved, all 3 of the other participants were on another league.

I don't particularly like Morris or basically ever agree with him, but you can at least say he is a well-read academic that could at least try to make some arguments. Destiny was just furiously searching wikipedia.

Holy fuck, after watching the debate, Destiny is literally showing the stereotype of smug liberal exposed here in Lemmygrad. He even goes as far to dismiss the judges of the ICJ and to insinuate the judges are incompetent.

Also, Benny Morris is clearly insidious about his responses. Even though he KNOWS the facts, he twists it into Israeli apologia. On the contrary to Benny, Destiny pulls shit out of his ass all of the fucking time.

Even though I had some laughs on Norman's beautiful roasting on Destiny, it was sad to see the vivid expression of liberal smugness that I sometimes live through within my social circles.

It’s incredible to see them all back to back. For real, I had no idea Destiny was Italian.

I mean, names like "Jorge Mario Bergoglio" don't exactly sound Spanish but it's an Italian-Argentinian's name, so I'm pretty sure with Barelli, it could be an Italian-Cuban-American's name, though it's a bit of a stretch
