      Dont chew a pen it will fuck up your teeth and as far as i know they dont grow back; but i am no expert in humans. To be on the safe side if you must chew something chew somthing soft like gum or leafs.

        Was gonna joke about the word 'plastic' but I won't.

        Gum or leaves is good. Also leather if we're still on inedible things.
        Ive been killing this 2kg of salted sunflower seeds lately though and it is so good. Like it sates that need but you've also gotta work for the kernels which means you're not shoving things in your gob at quite the same frequency.
        My sodium levels are probably through the roof tho

            Dont like pumpkin (flesh) so hadnt considered the seed tbh. Will defs pick up a pack when I'm at the store again bc I dont grow/can't make my own lol

          I roasted sunflower seeds last year and did a batch that were unsalted. Took some getting used to but I think I enjoy them that way now.

      According to this Japanese dictionary it is indeed a real word, though the relevant definition is more like "the feeling of wanting to put something in your mouth."

      German has a word for normal munchies (Heißhunger), weed-induced munchies (Fresskick), several for general Gluttony (Völlerei, Verfressenheit, Gefräßigkeit) and a word for omnomnomming (Schlemmen), as well as several other local terms for food enjoyment, but none for this. Hangry has become a loan word, tho, maybe the same will happen to kuchisabishii.

    I used to think that the eating montages that you see in like DBZ were just an anime thing, but they definitely happen in loke Japanese films too. My conclusion is that the word for that feeling has to exist.
