This is just their claims from the 40s, when they were roughly the ruling government in mainland china. Honestly, the funniest bit is that they didn't even control all of this in the 40s.

Up until like 2003 or something Taiwan claimed all Mongolian nationals to be their own nationals and didn't accept their passports as valid. Also legally both the PRC and ROC claim eachother's citizens to be their own nationals. Except Taiwan went even further and maintained until like the 2000s that every person of Chinese descent anywhere on the planet is a Taiwanese National. The Mainland's solution is to just treat Taiwanese like regular citizens. The Taiwanese solution is to just have some weird internal caste system where civic rights are tied to having a hukou registered to Taiwan island so there's like 100,000 people with Taiwanese nationality and Taiwanese passports who technically don't have the right to reside in Taiwan.

all these claims for such a small nation would make for a very interesting eu4 start tbh

That was to make fun of their claims but yeah I can see how it can come across like that I'll put it it in the post body instead

The PRC claims Senkaku Islands are a part of Taiwan, which makes it a part of the PRC by extension lol
