    Imagine if china and Russia torpedo the sanctions regime, and North korea develops to become a reasonably prosperous state. Beautiful.

      They were doing pretty well before USSR fell, I imagine now that there's open trade with Russia things will improve rapidly. Russia can provide them with everything they need in terms of resources, and they already have a powerful industrial base.
