Children should be allowed to assault adults who hurt them without punishment or retaliation.

conservative humour be like "why can't we beat the shit out of children anymore, huh? my parents beat the shit out of me and I turned out fine" 🤡

conservatives incapable of understanding that not only were their parents shitty people for having 1v1 death matches v toddlers, they were also shitty for a bunch of other reasons, and no sane person would ever aspire to be like them.

"why can’t we beat the ever shit out of children anymore, huh? my parents beat the shit out of me and I turned out fine"

Shhh, don't tell them that growing up and becoming an advocate for hitting children is not, in fact, "turning out fine".

You don't need to go that far: they're upset that people are wearing clothes. They are definitely not ok.

Literally teach your children that violence is the answer and that the parents they’re supposed to love and feel safe with physically beat them so some adults won’t have a moment of fucking joy in this capitalist hellhole and heaven fucking forbid will occasionally wear pijamas outdoors at your shitty fucking Wal-Mart

Lol any dipshit that thinks beating kids is okay conveniently forgets we don't stay kids forever, and will 100% be on your ass looking for that getback when we're physically capable

There's a reason I haven't spoken to my dad in years cause I told him it's on sight 🤷🏿‍♂️ he better hope he dies before he sees me again

Reliving nightmares of teaching mandated reporter classes. Here’s the definition for child abuse in the stupid state I live in.

“Abuse is defined as any physical injury, sexual abuse or emotional abuse inflicted on a child other than by accidental means by those responsible for the child’s care, custody and control, except that discipline including spanking, administered in a reasonable manner, shall not be construed to be abuse.”

It is far and away the ugliest and bizarre things I’ve ever been required to teach. I’d spend hours in front of stimulant addled teachers in the most rural places on this dying earth trying to hem that definition in, without breaking the law, just to feel like I wasn’t enabling an abuser. A LOT of educators thought the law’s exception was NOT expansive enough. Laying them end-to-end would reach the nearest ocean.

I got the occasional slap from teachers/parents and maybe I should've been hit harder because it didn't work 🤷

This is why children tell their parents to fuck off to thier face years later and they have the audacity to say we tried our best being all pikachu face.

Conservatives are obsessed with beating children. They frame it like a good thing or that it's just for punishment but I think it's a fetish with the frequency in which they invoke it.

Conservatives, and well Americans in general, love abusing children. They love to brag about how they were abused byvtheir parents, and how they abuse or plan to abuse their children. At least that's what i remember adults doing all the time as a kid. Hopefully its improved somewhat with younger parents
