Some people struggle with a sense of purpose, and the :jordan-eboy-peterson: types have some very convenient solutions that they want to impose on everyone. Just because I don't know what my purpose is doesn't mean you get to make one up for me. I know for a fact my purpose isn't going to be to ""serve my country"" or to be a good little worker ant 14 hours a day.

Why is the answer never "Try a creative hobby to express yourself, go outside and get in touch with nature and yourself in the quiet somewhere, get in touch with an organization and do good work" No, the answer is always "Go generate profit"

You have a health problem and your doctor doesn't care? The magic words are "This is impacting my job performance"

"Try a creative hobby AS LONG AS YOU CAN MONETIZE IT!"

Seriously, I did some middling mixology for the inlaws and they were so "impressed" they said I should look into being an "influencer". I just want to make some tasty drinks for my friends not give myself a second job!
