After the revolution, "lolcow" will be one of the code phrases that doesnt even send your name and location to the secret police, it straight up detonates the chip in your neck instantly.

I’m pretty sure it started on 4chan and kf just ran with it bc I remember people posting about “oh so exploitable lolcows” on /b/ back in like 2006 (maybe before?). There was a section for lolcows on ED too. How old is kf?

Its possible that it started on 4chan (I dont know the history of the term). These days its more of a Kiwifarms thing if we talk about the targeted harrassment of people for entertainment.

Yeah from what I understand it seems like kf was originally gathering place for users from 4chan that specifically wanted to target people with harassment in a similar way that 8chan would later be for gamergate/qanon posters. Or at least that’s what it always seemed like

I remember there being some early kf like posts of 4chan like that one young girl they harassed who’s dad did the cyber police and other stuff like that.

Apparently the name's literally just making fun of the way Christine Chandler pronounced the name of the wiki dedicated to harassing her.

Fair enough. My point wasnt meant to say 4chan isnt bad. I think most people even many people who use/used 4chan would agree that its bad for various reasons. Its just that Kiwifarms whole purpose from the beginning was to serve as a platform that harrasses or doxes people. You could maybe make a 4chan like website that is wholesome and good....you couldnt do that with Kiwifarms.

Just clicked the link, why is the keffals woman arguing with some random ass onlyfans account that said she shouldn't call others slurs? This is actual rock bottom behaviour lmao.

A couple weeks ago or something she pulled out old private DMs from her ex to show her in private having confessed to having a "nazi phase" in the past, just to dunk on her in the present for being a tankie and refusing to budge on it.

Drama personality behavior I could take as just like a "Ok ignore this trash heap", but its some real fucking soulless ghoul shit to make a big performance out of taking on Kiwifarms, then turning around and showing that the only lesson you took from the experience is how to apply their tactics. Graduated from just passive disdain to active hate for her.

I had bad vibes when she did a charity with Chelsea Handler and Fantano 10 months ago, because I only knew her from spamming "RATIOOOOOO" as a form of activism, and people thought less of me for saying such; but good god damn, no nightmare I could ever have possibly conceived would ever have seen it getting this bad. You've become what you sought to destroy, Anakin, etc, etc.

lmao i know someone who met keffals irl back when she was in the CPC and shes literally always been trying to start shit. Thered been a general consensus in the party for a while that shes a hack clout-chaser and generally a shitty person. Also apparently she rarely knew what she was talking about or did much research before opening her mouth on basically any topic. seems like she was starting drama long before she quit the CPC over 'ML hypocrisy' or some shit

I remember hearing her on the RevLeft episode with her back then. I thought it was cool there was some Canadian communist presence. Check out her linked Twitter and she says she's leaving due to the CPC's support of modern China, which I thought was odd because the CPC and the CPC-ML parties in Canada pretty obviously split in the '90s due to CPC being pro-China and the CPC-ML taking the Hoxhaist line. How she was a member of the party for months or years and unaware of this was bizarre at the time, but makes more sense now. I also think she had control of the Ontario Communist Party's YT channel because I was looking for what the last audio/video recording of Michael Parenti to see what's up with him and in 2017/2018 the Ontario CPC's FB page has a link to an audio interview with him which I believe was/is the last public recording of him and it led to their dead YouTube account that seemed to be deleted around the same time she left. Not sure, but I think she nuked some of the Ontario CPC's internet accounts on the way out and took from us more Michael Parenti material.

The ruling class made a magic box and poured into it a thousand million voices, all chattering inanely. Then they sold you these boxes knowing the susurrus would echo throughout your mind, driving you mad. Ignore streamers. Ignore drama. These things are without purpose.

Anyway, I’m going to go listen to some podcasts, which I’m sure are fine.

This is what happens when a person misunderstands that material conditions guide community growth and that physically brute forcing a community from one to another requires a very considerable amount of effort and care to perform.

A community grows in steps, at each step of the way policy is formed based on occurrences in that community and culture alongside it. Each new policy and the resultant culture is formed out of every previous thing that ever occurred in that community.

A bunch of people are there but they're there for a different kind of community, a different kind of content, a different kind of culture.

In order to transition a community from one thing you don't want it to be to another very different thing you need to consider things such as who the users are. You will need to reshape who the userbase is in order to cross a threshold from disapproval to approval. Slow purges are required to achieve this in a number of ways. One of the benefits of purges is that if you're removing one "type" of person you're usually making a community attractive to a different type. This obviously assumes that you have the growth to absorb the losses of the purges too. Also this can't happen in a short timeframe, it's a process that takes at least half a year to get right.

      Small example: Hexbear :gui-trans:

Two rounds of purging over a few months of anti trans posters to make Hexbear safer for trans ppl

Honestly the funniest part of the purges was how easy it was to not get purged and people still managed to fail. People were really like "Be nice to your trans comrades and pick a pronoun from the drop-down list? Sorry I'll take my chances in the gulag"
