        Bernies plan for executive orders

        https://jacobin.com/2020/02/bernie-executive-orders-democracy-movements

allowing the United States to import prescription drugs from Canada; directing the Justice Department to legalize marijuana; and declaring climate change a national emergency while banning the exportation of crude oil. Other options cited in the document include canceling federal contracts for firms paying less than $15 an hour and reversing federal rules blocking U.S. funding to organizations that provide abortion counseling… Other possible executive orders being considered include the immediate release of disaster aid to Puerto Rico and a review of the federal policies toward Native American tribal groups.

banning the exportation of crude oil

Holy shit I campaigned for the guy in 2020 and I didn't know he said that. No wonder they gave him the heart attack gun and Obama got everyone to drop out.

declaring climate change a national emergency while banning the exportation of crude oil.

based AF, though publicly saying this kinda shit is what makes the bourgeois apparatus coordinate to fuck you out of the nomination overnight. it's disappointing that he's apparently naive enough to think he could just announce this and have any snowball's chance in hell

It's a catch 22, remember how all the :warren-snake-green: supporters online would always talk shit about how Bernie "doesn't have a plan" or "couldn't possibly do anything his supporters want" but this is what happens when he talks about what he would do and how he could do it, they ratfuck him

Not that it matters much, but the minimum wage for federal contractors is currently $12.15/hr.

I don’t see Williamson being able to do that, frankly I don’t think Sanders could have done it either. And of course if a left-wing leader fails it will never be forgotten either by the media or the people.

I agree, but precisely how they fail would be a nice education
