In Taiwan at the time, not only democratic movements but also the feminist movements, labor movements, and social movements were growing nationwide, which allowed abolition of the traditional constraints of then-Taiwan society.

    :doubt:

Also, this website either doesn't know or doesn't care what citations are supposed to be or be used for.

Also, also... Yong-hui Hong is a member of the Japanese section of the Fourth International: https://internationalviewpoint.org/spip.php?auteur2452

    Lady's just another china watcher.

Again with the "china doesn't have free healthcare" shit without actually examining the hospital tier system - it functionally is free almost everywhere

No I don't, I am incredibly disorganized and stupid.

I will probably be able to get it for you within 24 hours though. Iirc it's basically just free in rural areas up to like 20% discount in city hospitals.

I gotta stop getting blazed and posting things which sound credible to me in a dissociated excited state

It’s like, show me a single nation which is investing more per capita in rethinking and revitalizing the way that rural people live. You know, aside from just, “move to the city”

Absolutely garbage. Just a string of regurgitated headlines from western rags without citations.

We need to listen to both sides here, the people clutching pearls about things they made up, and the people alarmed by that trying to resolve confusion. Have you considered they're both bad? Arguing online is meaningless anyways - everyone knows that studies show & experts agree when people argue online they entrench their opinions. Trying to have a dialectic online is pointless. Don't do it. Do not have a dialectic with people in Mexico - do you have any idea how online that is? Grill sausages. Now. Get the tongs, Kyle. I am not an archon. You can trust me.

There's another article lined at the bottom that calls Belt and Road "Chinese Imperialism."

Russia and China currently stand together against the “common enemies”.

insert propaganda posters of apparently gay Chinese and Russians holding hands
