A dissident group within the Amazon Labor Union, the only certified union in the country representing Amazon employees, filed a complaint in federal court Monday seeking to force the union to hold a leadership election. The union won an election at a Staten Island warehouse with more than 8,000 employees in April 2022, but Amazon has challenged the result and has yet to begin bargaining on a contract.

        his heart is in the right place but I deeply wish he'd read some theory. we met cause he wanted contacts with local organizers, even went up to speak at one of his rallies. but my AG had to bail when he invited the cops to follow the march and tried to get people to come up and speak while the whole event was surrounded by a tight ring of cops. I don't think he entirely got it when we were like hell no, my brown trans ass isn't giving a speech about socialism to an audience that's half cops.

          I don't want to mention specifics, but it's well-known in certain circles that his personal behavior is problematic to say the least and he does try to run the show in an egotistical way while also not knowing what he's doing (your cop story sounds about right, lol).
