When I was more into punk/DIY as a teenager, I got a cheap leather jacket from goodwill and cut the arms off. The space between the leather and the lining turned the vest into one giant hidden pocket, and Iwould use it to steal liquor bottles from the supermarket. Once I walked out of Sport Chalet with a whole axe in there, and I still have it to this day.
