Actually though I don't understand wireless charging. You get slower, less efficient charging in exchange for what? Like two seconds saved by not having to plug it in? You can't even use it while it's charging.

If you put wireless chargers in your usual phone drop spots, you never have to think about charging again. A different habit takes care of it. That's the appeal. I prefer a 2m charging cable to charge while using my phone, but my drop zone is in my pocket, so not appealing for me either 🤷‍♂️

Able type of good use for worked charging is for devices that don't move much or often. Things like wireless keyboards and mice. Wireless chargers allow you to basically never worry about battery life. And you can hide the cables with a little tinkering.

Two reasons for me, but they’re mainly because of the MagSafe:

      1. In the car, I just plop my phone onto the charger, and it holds it and charges it.
      2. At home, I also use iOS 17 Beta, so I can use the StandBy.

Of course it has its drawbacks, but this assumes that I need to use my phone all the time (no), I can’t spare even 5 minutes to not charge, or that I need to top up from 10% to 100% in 5 minutes for some reason, which I don’t. If I do, then sure, I use the cable. Through the past year, I needed to charge my phone through the cable maybe twice.
